This is a STAAR REVISING mini-unit that can be utilized in many ways from full-length lessons to quick warm-ups to supplemental practice to complete from home. This mini-unit has been used with ELL/EB students and with students who have failed the STAAR and needed a more intense and focused approach to the REVISING section.
The mini-unit focuses on the actual skills that STAAR tests according to data from the last two years and what is currently present on TEA’s online STAAR redesign practice. Each day focuses on one or two skills with notes, examples from released STAAR exams, and Quizizz, Kahoot! or Nearpod practice. There is a table of contents at the beginning of the unit to quickly jump to the lesson needed.
**Our district provides Chromebooks to students AND this was a unit that was meant to be nearly digital, so if you are looking for a unit with worksheets, I do not have that here. Almost all of the lessons have a Quizizz assessment at the end though, which can be easily converted into a worksheet with a click of a button. Instructions on how to do that included**
