*NOTE* This product will be updated this summer to correctly reflect the redesigned STAAR exam.
This entire unit uses the same phrasing of questions that can be seen on the STAAR/ EOC. Each day, a different poetic device is the focus, with teacher lead instruction, pair work and individual work on answering the STAAR/ EOC modeled questions. Some lessons I have used for newcomer ESL students are also included. Directions for each day included.
